It’s been a whirlwind 2 weeks.
Hubby came home on R&R on the 11th …
The Friday before, I spent most of the day with his aunt in Austin – apartment hunting for her and my very first visit to an IKEA store. On Saturday, I spent the day scouring the places in the house that hadn’t seen scouring for a while … places like window screens, etc. I was exhausted Saturday night, but managed to sleep well enough to be in ..read more

I had to find the exact quote and use it.
By far, XT-002 Deconstructor is possibly one of WoW’s most annoying boss fights ever (“NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!” in a high-pitched voiced, kiddie-tantrum fashion complete with pounding his fists into the floor) … but right here and right now, his first statement is so very apt.
I’ve got a couple new toys! I promise I won’t break them this time!

Even though I am only there for 5-7 hours, I am DOG TIRED when I get home. Yesterday was the worst of them all. My feet ached, my back ached, my head ached … some of that, I am sure, was the Hep-B vaccine I had gotten the day before (they have me on the “fast track” Hep-B plan) and piled on top of that the lack of a good night’s sleep due to WoW-itis.
/sigh
The newest patch? Oh boy. I ..read more

I’ve always insisted that your MP rating on your digi-cam is NOT important because most people don’t print anything larger than a 8×10 … in fact, there are FEW people who even print those.
Save your money – go for features, ease of use, and cost. ForGET the MP rating – it’s useless unless you’re printing posters.
Well, I found a table on the Walmart Photo Center site that says exactly that ….

The minute I saw the mail last night I knew exactly what I wanted to photograph. Course, it was waaaay too late to do anything about it: hubby2B and I went to the movies with a work colleague of his and his wife.
Incidentally, we went to see The Dark Knight in Elizabethtown about 30 minutes away. Well, I have to tell you that movie was pretty damned awesome – albeit a tad long (2 1/2 hours? Sheesh!). Aside from beginning ..read more
